From his laboratory in South London, Greg Scrase has been making music for years in relative isolation. He made his first appearance on wax in 2004 remixing the Jung Collective on the Heart Machine 7" single and has also released music on labels such as Audio Aubergine and Paul Blackford's Militant Science.
He has nurtured his warm immersive sound over the years with a careful fluxus approach on sampling and jamming with analogue hardware, achieving a fresh take on the 90s sound synonymous with the likes of Warp and Skam that both reflects and surpasses - possessing an aesthetic that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
Not confined to any particular genre, his works range from patient ambient soundscapes and bolstered house/techno to ruffneck junglist anthems, and everything in between - always delivered with a signature sound that is unique to him alone.
